We accept most commercial insurance plans as well as military insurance plans and self-pay patients. Prior to your visit, verify with your insurance provider that your visit will be covered and the estimated out-of-pocket expenses you should expect.
As a UNC Urgent Care patient, your bill will reflect the provider visit and any supplies or medication you may receive during the visit. If the UNC Urgent Care provider orders a radiology study (X-ray), you will receive one additional bill from Wake Radiology for the professional reading. Should certain laboratory services become necessary, you will receive a separate bill from Rex Hospital.
If you have a medical emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room immediately. In general, a medical emergency is one that can permanently impair or endanger the life of an individual. You should only use this service if you are certain you can safely wait at home with no risk to your health.
